Cardiac Technician required for various non-invasive cardiac testing and analysis. Experienced technicians looking to join our excellent working environment, will also benefits from:

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include non-invasive cardiac testing and analysis, liaising with Cardiologists and clients & quality assurance related duties.

Requisite qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree in science or Certificate IV (Cardiac Technician) is required.

The Patient Liaison Officer is responsible for talking to patients, to ensure that the remote Cardiac Diagnostic Operation is running smoothly and answers any questions patients might have.

The Patient Liaison Officer is the voice of the company and requires exceptional patient centred service and empathizing with patients, keeping them informed of the status of their queries and always focusing on delivering the best solutions.

You will work both independently and within a team, to diligently plan, organise and carry out support activities that will assist the company to meet targets, improve the flow of inbound and outbound operations. This is a somewhat autonomous role, where you need to be comfortable with making front line decisions and putting forward recommendations to improve process efficiencies to ensure the highest quality of service resulting in the delivery of Cardiac diagnostic and received in a timely manner.

  • Manage outbound and inbound patient enquiries
  • Answering patient’s questions with regards to our service
  • Keep customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date, method, and current status
  • Undertake basic data collection, analysis and distribution activities
  • Complete word processing and spreadsheet tasks accurately and efficiently
  • To provide a general enquiry and information service to all patients, public and other clinical colleagues.
  • To send patients all necessary information and documents relating to their cardiac diagnostic including confirmation emails / SMS.
  • Feedback to line Manager any problems that patients are experiencing and work with other departments to resolve issues where possible
What we are looking for in you.
  • To have an empathetic nature whilst demonstrating a strong communication ability
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Strong call handling skills and an active listener
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of working in customer service
  • Experience of working in a busy work environment, where you may have had exposure to or involvement in logistics
  • A suitable presentation manner in which to present yourself and our company to external stakeholders; being customers, patients, suppliers or visitors.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Microsoft word/excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Accurately maintain systematic and administrative records.
  • Analytical and logical approach to problem solving.
  • Previous Healthcare experience is preferred but not essential
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and self motivated
  • Open to learning and feedback

About the role

The position of Clinical Director is to remove communication barriers between the clinical service delivered by the Outsourced team and the expectations of customers in the UK while working with customers in setting a new standard of care defined by the data collected by CardioScan.

Successful delivery of CardioScan services should lead to a documented new diagnostic standard supported and implemented by customers that will deliver faster and better patient outcomes while considerably simplifying customers cardiac diagnostic operations.

The role consists in six parts:
  • Clinical support during on-boarding customers by explaining characteristics of:
  • Diagnosing with a patch in the context of both remote and in-patient diagnostic
  • Analysing Holter data with DMS software and its implication on the report structure
  • CardioScan analysis standards
  • CardioScan escalation procedures
  • Be the connection point between the UK customer and the Analysis team
  • Analyse data to cope with urgent requests and solve escalated reports
  • Perform regular data reviews with customers’ physiologists, cardiologists, stroke consultants and paediatricians and generate insights to define new standards of care implemented by hospitals and shared with medical societies
  • Liaise with medical societies to define new standards of care based on CardioScan data
  • Adapt CardioScan offering to the needs of the UK market
  • Define and manage customers’ clinical expectations
  • Be the ‘UK voice’ of the CardioScan clinical team
  • Analyse Holter data and produce reports
  • Review aggregated customer data and generate report to define new standard of care
  • Engage with customers, prospects and medical societies
  • Recommend how to adapt service to market needs, including participating in the assessment of new technologies and analysis software

This is a full time role that will combine both working from CardioScan’s UK office in Hammersmith as well as customer interaction both in Hospitals and remotely.  The role will also involve working with our other senior clinical leads in Australia and the US.

This role may be suitable for someone currently in a Chief Cardiac Physiologist (or equivalent) role who is looking for their next learning challenge.   • BSE accreditation (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience as Senior Cardiac Physiologist
  • Completed HNC BTEC (MPPM)
  • BSc in Clinical Physiology
  • Be RCCP registered (or equivalent UK registration)
